The Riverfront Art Gallery is run by the artist members and is specifically designed to display 2-dimensional fine art under the best conditions possible in a high traffic location. Being in the gallery gives the artist experience of showing their art in a gallery setting and allows direct feedback from the public about their work. Since there are over 20 artists and shows rotate about every 2 months, there are often openings for new artists to join approximately every 2 months.

There are full memberships and half memberships, full members work about 2 days a month in the gallery and get anywhere from 16 to 22 feet of wall space, half-members share a space and work half the hours. All members pay a monthly rent and receive 80% of the proceeds of any art of theirs that sells and they receive a 5% commission on any work they sell while they are working the gallery. After you have filled out the membership application and turned it in to us, we will review the applications we have on hand whenever there is an opening. We will then contact you to present samples of your work to a small subcommittee of members to vote on whether you should join at that time. If you are not accepted at one time, that does not mean you won't be accepted at another time.
