I started my art career in the mid 80’s with painting, sculpture ,and some jewelry making. In 2000 I started cutting my own gemstones and metal smithing in silver and gold to make jewelry settings, and set the stones I cut.

I go to the Tucson Gem Show every February to source rough gemstones to cut. The process of finding a rough gemstone, cutting and polishing it, and then setting it in a setting I made is truly a satisfying adventure.
